Q: How involved are parents in the life of the school?
A: We have an aim to foster an excellent Parents’ Association through a systematic engagement with a large committee of supportive parents to help organize regular events for both students and parents.
Q: What is the communication between school and home?
A: In our juniors, parents have the opportunity each day to talk to the Head of Pastoral almost at will. We encourage parents to contact the school if they would like an appointment with the form teacher or a member of the senior team. The Form teacher is freely available to see parents and is happy to discuss your child’s progress with you if you have any concerns. There are regular newsletters and Head’s letters about what is happening in school and the website is regularly updated with information and news. There is a text messaging service that we use for reminders. There are termly drop in mornings for parents to visit the junior classrooms and regular coffee mornings with the Group Managing Principal/Consultant. We use the school website and Facebook page to share news and to keep parents informed more readily.
