A Personalized Education:
Our teaching group gives pupils a more personalized experience so they can reach their individual potential and make the maximum progress possible. If children require extra support, our SENCo is on hand to assess and recommend appropriate levels. If children are showing that they can progress at a higher level, then more challenging work will be set to ensure that they are stretched and engaged.
Small Class Sizes:
We are deliberate about keeping our teaching groups small. This means learners have a more personalized experience with meaningful feedback, so that they can reach their individual potential and make the maximum progress possible.
Continuity and Progression:
We know our scholars extremely well, this aids us to track their progress and optimally personalize their learning. Scholars move from the Juniors into the Seniors through milestone exams. This continuity makes for smooth transition from one stage of schooling to the next.
Learning outside the Classroom:
We make the most of our location, taking learning outside the classroom and into the local environment for the Arts, Sciences and more. We use a number of Olympic quality local sports facilities and offer a wide range of sports throughout the school. Trips and outings are at the core of our curriculum implementation.
Outstanding Pastoral Care:
We are deliberate in our efforts to know each and every child in this school, their strengths and talents, their personality and where they need to be encouraged and challenged. The system is structured such that it can breed excellent relationships between staff and pupils.
Partnership with Parents:
We value our close relationships with parents and would consult with you on a regular basis. From formal parent/teacher consultations, to drop in meetings and informal coffee morning chats with the consultant. Parents are also welcome at exhibitions, performances, sports days, our annual Prize Day celebrations and Christmas concerts. Parents are encouraged to be involved in the life of the school and may accompany school trips or help out at school events.
